My life crashed! How about you?
Here’s my personal story.
Through all my experiences, I was always pulled to get up,
find inspiration, find energy,
find new knowledge and find a way out of the darkness.
I want to share my knowledge, skills and inspiration with you.
It’s my mission to help you get back on track.
*** The airplane crash: When I was 37 years old my husband,
Bill Rosenberg, died in a commercial airline crash. It was one of the first cases of American terrorism as a disgruntled airline employee bypassed security with a gun and got on the plane for revenge against his boss. All 43 people died. We had just had our 10th anniversary.
*** The attempted car-jacking: I was shot at through my driver’s window and injured in an attempted car jacking of my Acura Legend. I got away, but the gunman shot into the car and the shattered window glass shards went into my ear and face. The shattered radio splinters went into my knee. The sounds of the gun going off so close to my ear, and the shattering glass, also, caused an ongoing startle response and problems which I am still exploring.
*** The Oakland Firestorm: The Oakland Firestorm that destroyed 3,000 homes and twelve lives in five hours was heading straight for my house and I was evacuated for three full days. I had designed the remodel of my cottage in the Oakland Hills, top to bottom, and it was my fulfilling creative endeavor. Thankfully, I did not lose my home that I loved but the devastation and experience were horrific.
*** The embezzlement: I was given a significant amount of money when Bill died. Among all my investments, I had $110,000 embezzled by a renegade Mortgage Broker. I had to chase the crook and get the other investor’s files AND turn him in to the District Attorney AND ended up in the hospital for eight days from the stress AND being misdiagnosed.
*** Lifelong health issues: I have lifelong health issues with my gut starting at age 22, stemming from a year and a half traveling in Asia. In addition, starting in 2014, I got Toxic Black Mold syndrome. My health is a constant challenge. As the medical field is now learning, the microbiome of the digestive tract is the center of immune health, enzyme production and is needed as a foundation of health.
Yes, I got knocked DOWN, knocked OUT, repeatedly. While all this was happening, I was constantly moving forward as best I could, although sometimes hiding in bed and checking out in various ways.
To keep my energy moving, I was:
* Working in the graphic arts field
* Managing my investments
* Taking expressive arts classes
* Training in coaching
* Creating relationships
* Involved in my spiritual practice
* Taking countless personal growth workshops, yes, I am a personal growth junkie!
* Journaling
* Brain retraining
* Studying health and nutrition from some of the best, including Hippocrates Health Institute in West Palm Beach, FL

International Travel:
Age 22: Overland from Istanbul, Turkey through Turkey, Iran, Afganistan,
Pakistan, India, Burma, Thailand, Laos and home to California.

When I was in India, then age at 23, I stayed nine months and learned Vipassana Meditation
in 10 day silent retreats (9 retreats in 6 months!) and consequently went to Burma
where I met my meditation teacher. I have been in the same tradition with the same teacher
since that time. We have five meditation centers around the world,
with our main center being in Wiltshire, UK.

During this time, I left working in graphic arts and started an office organizing business. I realized I was training and coaching my clients how to be organized, so they did not need me after one session. Then, they often hired me as their life coach.
So, after all these things happened, I began my professional coaches training and I became a Certified CoActive Coach and Leadership Graduate through Co-Active Training Institute (CTI) and became a Certified Myers Briggs Type Indicator™ practitioner, graduating from all of these in spring, 2001.
Through it all, I still had times when I crashed and burned. Sometimes I never wanted to get up again. Sometimes I read novels for days and checked out completely.
Yet, I was always pulled to get up, find energy, find inspiration, find new knowledge and find a way out of the darkness. I want to share my knowledge, skills and inspiration with you.
I have found that supporting others on their journey nourishes my soul. I continue to create deep, interactive relationships with great people in my life and in my Clear Focus Coaching.
Through my personal experiences and professional training, I want to be a force in your life to support and encourage you.
I have ties with a wide range of associates with various specialties. If I am not the “best fit” for you, I will refer you to someone who I believe can support you.
