One of the highlights of my personal growth work was my participation in the “International Conference on Business and Consciousness” in Acapulco, Mexico. It was a five day conference in 1999 and I became friends with Martin Rutte, co-author of “Chicken Soup for the Soul at Work”. At the time, my business card read,
“Personal Honor: Ethics in the Workplace”.
Martin questioned me deeply about the meaning of honor.
“What is honor?” And,
What is ethics?”
Together, Martin Rutte and I came up with: “Honor is ethics in action”.
