My own journey has been one of searching, curiosity, exploration, creativity, and continual reinvention. I have lived through extraordinary disruption, loss, danger, health challenges, financial betrayal, and repeated reinvention.
Early hitchhiking in Europe at age 19 whet my appetite for travel. At age 22, I travelled alone overland from Istanbul, Turkey to Bangkok, Thailand for a year and a half. I took buses, trains and trucks overland through Iran (of course, stopping at Persepolis), Pakistan, India, Nepal (trekking alone to 17,500 ft), Burma, Laos and Thailand. What an adventure.
It has been a true “Journey of Self-Discovery”.
Along the way, I’ve learned that while life can unexpectedly change our direction, it also invites us to discover a deeper, more authentic version of ourselves. I believe life’s greatest transitions often become the doorway to our greatest transformation.
That belief is at the heart of The Creative Pivot.
As a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) and Co-Active Leadership Coach, I’ve spent more than two decades helping thoughtful, creative women gain clarity, reconnect with their strengths, and create lives and work that reflect who they are today.
My coaching integrates professional training with a lifetime of personal exploration and development.
I hold a B.F.A in Graphic Design from California College of the Arts, where I developed a deep appreciation for creativity, design thinking, and seeing possibilities others often overlook.
Since a young child, I have always been involved in most mediums.
My work has been further shaped through advanced training in Creativity Coaching with Eric Maisel, Certification through the Money Coaching Institute, extensive Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® training, and Family Constellations work exploring the hidden patterns that can influence our lives across generations.
Long before coaching became my profession, a search for fulfillment led me around the world.
During my overland adventure, I spent nine months in India studying Vipassana (Insight) meditation through a series of ten-day silent retreats before continuing to Burma to meet the teacher whose tradition I’ve continued to practice ever since, Vipassana/Insight Meditation.
That lifelong meditation practice has profoundly influenced how I perceive life and the world. Life is truly impermanent, constantly shifting and evolving.
It has taught me the value of integrity, morality, deep listening, thoughtful presence, self-awareness, and trusting the wisdom that emerges when we slow down enough to truly hear ourselves.
And I am a profound listener; I want to listen to you, dig deep and come up with the transformation that you have been seeking.
Throughout every season of my life, I’ve found myself asking the same questions:
How do we find clarity when life changes unexpectedly?
How do we rediscover purpose after what once fit no longer does?
How do we move forward without losing ourselves?
Those questions eventually became my life’s work.
Today, I help creative professional women navigate life’s transitions with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose.
Together, we’ll uncover the hidden patterns shaping your choices, reconnect with your creativity and inner wisdom, and create meaningful movement toward the life that’s waiting to emerge.
Because I believe you don’t have to go back to who you were.
Sometimes your greatest opportunity is to become more fully who you’re meant to be.
